Winter Time

It finally looks like winter time in Royal City. It started last Wednesday and we ended up not having school Thursday or Friday. It has been a wonderful four day weekend. We have taken full advantage of being home and relaxing. Kylie ended up making snow angels and we went sledding behind the four wheeler tonight.

Lunch with a Friend

Grady was a good eater boy. He ate the entire mac n' cheese lunch a Roadhouse including a brownie.
Grady and I met up with Danae and Colt for lunch at the Roadhouse before Christmas. It was great to catch up and have some time to say "hi." Colt is a cutie and he slept through the entire lunch, what a good baby. I am sure there two boys will be good friends.

Christmas Cookies

We spent Friday afternoon with the Jarman family. It was a great afternoon. Kylie had fun playing with the girls. We decorated cookies with Avery and June before we left. Kylie and I had a movie date with Grandma to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks." Kylie liked the movie and we were off to Uncle Nick's birthday party.

We spent Christmas Eve in Ellensburg. We went to mass after watching the Seahawks game with friends. We made a quick trip to Fred Meyer before church for a special item, when I get back out to the car, it was dead. So, Grandpa to the rescue for a quick jump then off to Christmas mass. Church was wonderful. Kylie didn't make it through the entire service, so Grandma and Ky went driving around to look at Christmas lights. Then we were headed to Granny and Papa's house for a wonderful Clam Chowder dinner.We waited for my brother, the three of them were at the game in Seattle. Kylie feel asleep right after we got done with dinner. We opened gifts then Grady feel asleep. We finished the night with a family game. I can say that THE GRAY's are a little competitive, o.k. a lot, but still fun.

We spent the night in Eburg. Ryan drove back to Royal to check on all the cattle before we got up. He was back, had breakfast, then opened gifts. We got the kids ready, a Christmas photo for my mom's Christmas card, then we were off to come back to Royal for dinner with Nany and Ba. We made it home in time to open presents from Santa, then naps. We had one more party at Nany and Ba's with all the Stewart's. It was a busy couple of days, but so much fun to get to spend so much time with our wonderful families.

Play Date

Kylie begs for her cousin Maddie to come and play. We were able to get the girls together at our house to play last Tuesday. They had a great time. They really are great friend and get along so well. Ryan decided the girls needed to ride horses and he brought Sarah home for a ride before lunch. Nany came over after lunch, so each girl had a horse to ride. Kylie rose Sarah and Maddie on Sparky Boy. We had a great time riding, even Grady had to have a turn. I think that spring will bring a lot of time a horseback. We love you Maddie!

Lemon

My aunt brought Ryan some barn kitten for our shop over by Grandma Shirley. She brought three kittens, Kylie loves animals. She told her dad that was wanted a kitten and poof we have a new pet. Ryan could only catch one, poor kitty that got caught. Lemon is what Kylie calls the new kitty. She is a wonderful cat and take a lot of abuse from both of my kids. I found Lemon hiding in Kylie stuff animal box the other day. Thanks Aunt Teresa for our new favorite kitty, Lemon.

Nine Months Doctor Appointment

Grady went to the the doctor on the 23rd of Dec. for his 9 month check up. He weighted 21lbs 11.5oz and was in the 75% for weight. This was after he has had a bad stomach bug for over a week. Grady was 28" and that is also the 75% for length. He needed two shots, but he did good. He is right on track and started to walk after we left the doctors office. It is official he is a walking boy.

I got my picture of my kids in their Christmas Pj's in front of our tree. I know that the next couple days are going to be wild. I have to just remember one day at a time. Kylie and I has made hand print ornaments, baked and decorated sugar cookies, another ornament project, and wrapped some more presents. It was a great weekend. I love these two.

Kylie had her preschool program last Thursday morning. She was ready to sing her two songs, but I guess she got a little excited by the crowd. All she could do was spin and squeal. It was funny to see her just stand up there and be so happy and excited. Santa came to say "hi" to the kids and ask them what they wanted for Christmas. Kylie told Santa that she wanted a Barbie. I will someday get the video uploaded, but for now these are the pictures to share.

Sick Boy

Grady has been battling a flu bug for the last week and two new teeth on top of it. He has not been feeling well, but has have turned the corner. He started to feel better today He has a big smile about eating Cheerios and water for dinner yesterday. We love our boy!

I got to help at Kylie's preschool this last Tuesday morning. It was pajama day and what a fun day we had. Kylie helped me make the snack the night before. We made Santa grahams. She was lots of helped and they turned out great. Kylie also made reindeer food for all the kids at preschool to take home. It was a very busy morning. I was able to help the kids make their Christmas presents. They has such a great time decorating their presents. They all wanted to add a lot of detail. They all enjoyed the Santa snack and cocoa while they listened to the "Polar Express." I loved it. I was able to meet each kid in her class and spend the morning with my girl. Thanks Ms. Katie for all your hard work. She has learned so much this year and all you extras are so special.

We celebrated Christmas early this year with Ryan's family. It was last Saturday evening. We has a wonderful dinner. The kids enjoyed the time together. It was a wonderful night. We are so blessed to be able to have such a wonderful Christmas with such a wonderful family.

Kylie made a gingerbread house with my dad. She was so proud of it. She had to come home and tell me to get my camera to take a picture. We have so much planned for this month, it will be so much fun. Kylie went to the Christmas Lights Parade last night in Sunnyside with my aunt and uncle and her cousin Danielle. She was so excited to tell me all about Santa and The Grinch. We are definitely in the Christmas spirit. We are working on getting some lights up today and then our Christmas Tree is our activity for tomorrow night. Happy Holidays!

This month has flown by for us. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Ellensburg with lots of my family. Kylie enjoyed all of the Chicken (Turkey) crafts that we completed through out the month. We got to enjoy a second Thanksgiving on Friday night with Ryan's family. I did do Black Friday shopping on Friday. It was fabulous and a lot of presents bought and wrapped. I am feeling more and more ready for the next holiday. Happy Chicken Day!

We had a great day, except Grady is sick with a really bad cough. He had to stay home and get some love from Grandma and Nany. Kylie got to go to daycare and have a party with her friends. She decided that she didn't really want to dress up. The school party was a huge success and all my kindergartners loved the carnival. When we got home today, she was ready to be a ballerina. We headed to Ms. Katie's and then down the creek for some Treats. She really got into it and was asking if we could stop at that house. She would tell me "the light is on mom you MUST stop." We went to a total of 8 houses and that was enough for us. Ryan and Grady stayed home to pass out candy to all 4 of our Trick or Treaters. Happy Halloween! I get to stay home with my kids tomorrow and enjoy a relaxing day. I hope Grady starts to feel better soon, poor boy.

New Cousin

We have a new cousin. Samuel Wells was born last Friday, October 21st at 7:54 a.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 inches long. We got to visit baby Sam on Sunday night. He is so sweet and such a cute little guy. Sam was great with all of the petting from Kylie. Congrats Allred family!

Seven Months Old

Grady and Kylie before bed last week. This is Grady's face when Kylie given too much loves. They make us laugh.
Grady turned seventh months old. We have been busy the last couple weeks. We decorated for fall with corn stalks, and a wagon full of pumpkins, gourds, and Indian corn. We made a trip out to Super Sister's Pumpkin Patch. We have our pumpkins cleaned and now carved. We are so excited about Halloween this year. We are not sure what Kylie will be, she keeps changing her mind. Check back for our Halloween costumes and our jack o' lanterns.

Grady Six Month Doctor Appointment

Grady had his six month dr. appointment in Ellensburg on Monday. Grady weighed 19 lb and 10 oz. and he is 27 1/2 inches tall. He got five shots, including a flu shot. We have just been so busy and now Mommy is not feeling so hot. I am off to teach another day. I hope that today is the worst day of this cold and tomorrow will be better.

Grady turned six months on September 23rd. He is sitting up, crawling, and getting into everything. He has only his two bottom teeth. He is a happy, hungry, and sleepy boy. He loves attention and never misses a meal. Grady is a sweet baby boy who loves his mama, YEAH!
This is our EVERYnight. We have dinner and baths. The two of them are very funny in the tub. They love splishing and splashing!
This is what our playroom looks like everyday. It drives me crazy, but she is creating and loves to cut, glue, and color. She is working on her fine motor skills, right?
The Jumperoo and his high chair are the only two SAFE areas for him right now. It is a good thing that he loves doing his jumps.

We have had such a fun and busy month. I am in full swing with school. I love teaching, but the first month when they are learning all the routines, I always ask myself if I can make it through the day, week, or first month. Well I have made it, we are now in October, things are great and my kids are sweet. Kylie is in her routine of preschool and ballet. She had a great week and I think that she is now adjusted to the routine. They had a field trip to the apple orchard. (I will get a pic up soon.) She had a great time and picked a lot of apples. We have preschool pictures, Kylie's snack day, field trip to the pumpkin patch, and a Halloween party. It will be another fun and busy month. Grady has his 6 month check up on the 10th of October and we will be waiting to find out how much he has grown. He is just a big, strong boy.

Kylie's Ballet Class

Kylie had her second day of preschool. She had a much better day and she worked really hard on listening to the teacher. She told us all about her day at the dinner table tonight. Kylie painted with apples, sang a song about an apple tree, and did some coloring. She also had her first ballet class. Kylie did great until mom came to watch then she was done. The teacher is amazing and she loved it. Aunt Katie has a picture to come later.

First Day of Preschool

Kylie had her first day of preschool in the 3 year old class at the Apple Country Preschool. Ryan dropped her off and she was very excited. She loved her new school and talked about her play dough happy face. Kylie loved her school so much that when I came to get her on my lunch break, I had a sad sad girl. I guess that I should be happy that she wants to learn and be at school.

Summer Time, Busy Time

We enjoyed an afternoon at the Moses Lake fair. Ryan and I tried a deep fried Twinkie with ice cream, YUMMY!
Kylie talked dad into playing all the games. She was fishing for a prize.
Then she won the parrot after she squirted the clowns mouth.
Then it was off to the rides and spinning strawberry with dad.
She rode the crocodile roller coaster, all by herself.
We spent the rest of the weekend at Suncadia, a resort by Cle Elum. This is Kylie taken a break from the swimming pool for some fruit snacks.
The weather was fabulous and it was so fun to have a get away before school.

This is a really neat act in the Rodeo. He is the "One Arm Bandit." She rides his donkey on the top of the trailer while it is going. He uses a bull whip to get two buffalo onto the top of the trailer. It is amazing.

We stopped by to say "hi" to Uncle Nick and Uncle Matt. They were security at the beer garden at the rodeo all weekend.
Sunday we went for a quick trip to Pasco to visit two of my cousins that live on the east coast. They were in town for the long weekend. It was a great BBQ with lots of yummy food and good visiting. This is Jared with baby Grady. I love Labor Day weekend! Today was a great day to get caught up with everything including this post. Tomorrow I will be posting a picture of Kylie with her preschool teacher. She has her first day tomorrow. She can't wait. We got to visit and see the preschool today. We were invited to Open House. She was really excited about the reading corner. Both kids are having a great afternoon nap. I think that might be my next thing on my "To Do" list.

Grady's First Tooth

Grady's first tooth appeared on Tuesday, August 16th. Grandma was letting him chew on her hand and felt his first tooth. He didn't really have a hard time with his first tooth. He has had a bib on from being wet for a whole month. He is just an easy baby. He is working away at getting more. My baby is getting so big so fast. He has teeth before he is 5 months old.

Three Year Doctor Appointment

We had Kylie's 3 year doctor visit today. She is...... wait for it..... 37 lbs and 6 oz. (90%) and 38 3/4 inches tall (90%). She is perfect. Everything looks great and she only had to have 1 poke. She didn't even cry. Kylie watched the needle go in and out. Then she turns to me and said "mom that hurt a little." Dr. Penny was impressed that she was able to listen and follow all of the directions. That was a big surpise to me also. We get in the car to go have a special lunch with Grandma and she tell me the three rules that Dr Penny told her. MOM "I need to drink more water. I need to put away my dirty clothes. I need to brush my teeth." Thanks to Dr. Penny we have three rules at our house now. She just makes me laugh. She is getting so big. We got a letter in the mail with her information about school. She is excited about her homework. She was also excited as well about an "Open House" to go to before the first day of school. This three year old stuff is exciting. She has a busy week planned for her last week of summer. We spent the rest of the day shopping in North Bend for school clothes. Then she decided she needed to spend the night at Grandma's house. Tomorrow night is at Aunt Teresa's house with lots of fun planned for Thursday. Then we have cousin Jace's camping birthday. Friday is the fair and rodeo in Moses Lake. Saturday and Sunday is recovering from all this fun she will be having. Then Monday, Mom goes back to work and that means a normal routine, Yeah!

Kylie had a wonderful rainbow birthday with lots of family and friends. She told us before she went to bed that "it was her bestest day evers." I had some much fun planning her party as usual. Four Month Doctor Appointment

Grady is over four months, but we just had his appointment today. He weighed 16lbs 14 oz (70%). He is 26 inches tall(90%). He is so strong. I mean pull out all your hair if he gets a hold of it, strong. He had been rolling over, but now he has added up on the knees rocking and push ups. If he wants something bad enough he will just roll until he gets to it. Grady is an easy baby. He sleeps from 9pm-7am, I almost always have to wake him up, because I want him to take a morning and afternoon nap. He feeds good. You know that he need a bottle if he cries, that is all it would be, a quick fix. He loves to play with his toys on the floor. He still is not a fan of the swing, but loves his jumperoo. Kylie loved the jumperoo as well. We are starting solids today, yeah. He loved his cereal and bananas. Happy 4 months old Grady Ray!

I have taken the before and after pictures of our house. We moved into Jason and Sybil's house just up the road after they found a place in Heppner, Oregon. We started renovations in June and we moved just this last Wednesday. We painted, added new flooring, new cabinets and counter tops, and new appliances. We have settled in and finished most of the decorating. We have just a hand full of projects left and then it will be back to school and getting my classroom ready for the next school year. We are going to enjoy the last few weeks of summer! I am so happy about having a dishwasher, a bathtub and more room along with a bedroom for Grady. It was been so exciting to finish this project and settle in. We are so happy with the way that everything turned out.

We celebrated Grady's baptism last Sunday. We had it be part of the mass in Ellensburg at Saint Andrews. He was such a good baby. We had a bunch afterwards at my mom and dad's to celebrate with all our family that attended. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family to surround Grady with so much love on his baptism.

My dad's parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with dinner out with our entire family in Yakima at Tony's steak house. It was a great evening, wonderful food, and a delicious ice cream cake. Congratulation on 60 years of being married. You are an inspiration to us all of love and dedication to the sacrament of marriage. We love you Granny and Papa!

Summer

Grady at 3 months old. He is such a happy baby. He had mastered rolling over and is working on sitting up. He is growing so fast.

We are remodeling an old (1929) ranch house. It has been a fun project for the summer. Kylie got to paint her own room pink. We will post more pictures when we have more progress to show.

Kylie at her swim lessons in Ellensburg every Monday and Wednesday for the past four weeks. I know that she loves her swim lesson days. That is what it is all about.

Our bedtime routine is bath time then stories with both kids. It has been so fun to watch these two become best friends. Kylie really loves her brother. Grady lights up when he sees his big sister. I love you both so much!

Monday was so relaxing. We spent the day at home, just hanging out, enjoying the sunshine.

We took the kids fishing right behind out house. It was perfect. Kylie caught her first fish right when we got there. She had to real it in all by herself. She was so proud of her fish.

Summer Time Fun

This what Kylie looks like most days of summer. She loves just a t-shirt and underwear. I can't keep shoes on her. She has picked every flower in my yard. We have yet to even have a raspberry, she picks even the green ones.

Kylie loves being outside. We sold this puppy, Kylie was pretty sad about it leaving, but we have new ones for her to love. This pup had a lot of spirit, it kept up with Kylie and gave her some nips as payback.

We have been enjoying our summer. We have been so busy with all the going ons. I am currently taking a online class to finish my certificate. We have swim lessons on Monday and Wednesdays in Ellensburg. I have been working on remodeling a house on the ranch to move into before August. It was has been a busy couple of weeks. We have had birthday parties, branding, doctor appointment, dentist appointment, and a shower to put on. I am loving every minute of it all.

We met my mom, aunt Teresa, uncle Dan, aunt Tammy, and cousin Danielle for lunch in Prosser. Happy Birthday to my aunt Teresa! Danielle has outgrown her playhouse and offered it to us for Kylie. We rented a forklift and loaded it onto our flatbed trailer to bring it back to the ranch. It was a major undertaking. He had to raise it above the house to clear the eve. It was shaking and everyone was crossing there fingers. It has made it back to the ranch. It needs a fresh coat of paint. When it is all set up and the girls are playing, I will post a picture.

We started Sunday morning with some delicious waffles Kylie made for Ryan. Then he headed off with his dad to Ellensburg for some roping fun. Grady, Kylie, and I got ready and headed over to Ellensburg in the afternoon. Kylie got to ride around with Daddy for the entire afternoon. She was crying when I had to take her back to Grandma and Grandpa's for a Father's Day dinner. We were able to celebrate with my daddy (grandpa) and his dad (papa). It was a great day and all the dads were happy.

Grady did his first roll over on Father's Day. He was not even 3 months old yet, but he is pretty good at it. We have not yet figured out how to get back on his back, but he will master that soon enough.

We spent the most time at the Elephants. It was the perfect weather for being outside at the zoo all afternoon. We were able to see so many animals, I was impressed. Kylie picked a Zebra stuff animal, the only animal that we didn't get to see today.

Kylie and I were able to take a day trip to Seattle today. We got to visit Maddie at Children Hospital. She recently had her third open heart operation and is doing well. Today was a great day to visit. Kylie got to see Maddie for the first time since Easter. They were so sweet, they had really missed each other. When we got to the playroom, each girl painted a picture. We played and visited for a while. Then they had a therapy dog that both the girls loved. A wiener dog that did tricks, too cute. Kylie and Maddie watched a barbie movie, colored a picture, and waited for the Cath lab to take Maddie back to get her chest tube removed. We are so happy that Maddie is doing so well and feeling so much better. We are crossing our fingers that she gets to come home tomorrow. Good to see you Maddie and Katie!

Grady is such a happy baby. This was the big smiles I got today when we got home. (I think he missed me) He sleeps from 9pm till 5:30am then another feed then he will sleep till 7am. He eats all his bottles and then some. He loves to talk, but only if someone is talking back to him. He is getting to be such a big boy. Ryan and I met some friends at the Dwight Yokama concert in Chelan last night. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. I walked out of the casino $50.00 richer. I dropped Ryan off at a roping in Wenatchee this morning and he won a little money.

Kylie is a wonderful big sister. She has adjusted to the roll very well. She always wants to help. She loves to feed him, hold him, do baby talks to him, and do kisses on him. Grady loves having his sister in the back seat for him to talk to in the car. Kylie is officially potty trained. We have been two weeks without an accident. I am still getting the routine down myself. The public restroom this with a two year old is a challenge.

Kylie and I went to the CIRCUS today. Can you believe the circus came to Royal City? We had a great time and enjoyed all the excitement under the big top. I think her favorite was the lion. He was pretty cool.

Kylie and her friend Emma had a birthday party at their daycare last Tuesday.These two were pretty excited about their special day. They celebrate the summer birthdays in June before all the kids are out for the summer.

The first week of June we had Jace and Caden over to our house for a picnic lunch and ...

some fishing with Uncle Ryan. The boys eat caught a carp and had to put them in Kylie's swimming pool. These two are very fun, looking forward to this summer and all the activities. There sister Maddie is over at Children's Hospital and her third open heart surgery was a huge success. We are hoping that she has a quick recovery. Kylie is missing her best friend. We will be back at 4 months for another check, but all looks great. He was busy talking and smiling at the doctor. He needs to be on his tummy for a total of an hour a day to strengthen his back and neck muscles. That was the only thing to work on. It was pretty good report.

Maddie Grace is schedule for her fontan surgery this Tuesday. I am asking that you think about this sweet little girl for just one minute and say a little prayer for her and her family. They have missed each other so much for the last month. We have been sick and unable to see her. We needed to keep Maddie healthy for this surgery. This last weekend Ryan and I left the kids in Ellensburg with my mom and dad. (oh so hard) I was a bridesmaid in my girlfriend Melissa's Wedding. We traveled to Stevenson, Washington on Friday for the rehearsal. We got to stay at the beautiful Skamania Lodge, which was also where the wedding took place on Saturday afternoon. The wedding was beautiful and we enjoyed our weekend get away. It ended up raining and they moved the wedding inside, but it was perfect by the fireplace in the ballroom. Melissa was a beautiful bride. I wish Melissa and Everett all the best, Congratulations!

Grady Ray is 6 weeks old.

The first day of spring and my girl was begging to swim so we settled on running through the sprinkler once.

We have made several trips to town in the last couple weeks. We have had a doctor appointment, grocery shopping, a dentist appointment, a bridal shower, and some family time. Kylie and I took Grady to the park and walked about Eburg last week. We love the park by the swimming pool. We will soon be there every week for swimming lessons, looking forward too it.

Santa Visit

We made a trip t0 Pasc0 last Sunday t0 meet up with Santa that c0mes and visits at Beaver Bark. We didn't get a nap in bef0re we made it t0 Tri-cities s0 by the time we were at the Nursery she was exhausted. We did like the reindeer. They l0ved the raisins, but by 1 p.m. that day they had their fill 0f raisins. We made 0ur way thr0ugh the building l00king f0r Santa. Kylie f0und a p0nd 0f fish and was s0 excited. She wanted t0 l00k at the fish instead 0f getting a picture with Santa. S0, we made three attempts n0ne 0f them a sucess. It was back t0 the fish bef0re we headed 0ut sh0pping, while my aunt t00k Kylie t0 her h0use f0r a rest. My m0m and I meet back up with my Aunt and Uncle f0r a great mexican dinner bef0re heading back t0 R0yal. My sh0pping is d0ne and I happy t0 say that tw0 week bef0re Christmas. We went t0 grandma's h0use Saturday m0rning. We decided the pumpkin patch was t00 c0ld at 10 0'cl0ck s0 we went t0 the Children's Museum in Ellensburg. Kylie had a great time. She l0ved playing and checking all the new things 0ut. We walked ar0und the Farmer's Market and then went t0 lunch with Granny, Grandma, Kylie, and myself. We went t0 Yell0w Church, just s0 yummy! We have had a very busy September. Kylie has adjusted well int0 her back t0 sch00l r0utine. She l0ves all 0f her care takers and is excited ab0ut babysitters. Kylie gets t0 spend M0nday with Nany, Tuesday and Thursday at M00n and Stars Day Care (Sheri Smith), Wednesday is with Grandma, and every 0ther Friday is with Nany 0r Grandma. It has been w0rking 0ur really well and she is always c0ming h0me each day with s0mething new she has learned. As f0r me, I am back in a great r0utine with a g00d gr0up 0f kids. I am excited t0 watch their pr0gress, kindergarten is s0 great. They learn s0 much in 0ne year. We have had s0 many fun things this m0nth. We had a birthday party f0r Uncle Bryan, a R0yal Knights F00tbal game, Ba's birthday party, and Caden's 5th birthday party. Then Ryan and I were 0ff t0 the r0de0, while Kylie had a nap at Grandma's. Then after the r0de0 we headed d0wnt0wn. Ryan play with his friend fr0m high sch00l. Slag played the guitar and Ryan sang at a new bar in t0wn 0wned by s0 R0yal City natives, Brix in d0wnt0wn Ellensburg. It is a new wine bar in t0wn that features a R0yal City vineyard. He started his set at 8:30 and we ended the night ar0und tw0. It was fun t0 get t0 see him sing. He l0ves it s0 much. Then Sunday we t00k Kylie t0 the fair. My br0ther Matt came with us and we walked thr0ugh all the animal barns, ate a lunch 0f fair f00d and even r0de a few rides bef0re the r0de0 started. Kylie l0ved it all. She ended up falling asleep bef0re her fav0rite the "barrula racin." We headed h0me after the r0de0 and have been relaxing ever since. It was a fun and busy weekend. We are enj0ying my relaxing and pr0ductive M0nday 0ff. I have g0t several l0ads 0f laundry, dishes, and the lawn m0wed. I finished Kylie's thank y0u n0tes fr0m her birthday and then a c0uple 0f pr0jects f0r sch00l this week.

We had a "Stewart Camp Out" last week. It involved riding horses, a delicious dinner, a fire, and some fishing. We look forward to another camp out next year.

Kylie's favorite dinner is spaghetti. She will eat until her tummy hurts. She loves to get all messy.

Kylie came up with this all on her own. She put my rubber gloves on her feet and then started to "quack." Ryan asked what she was doing and she just kept saying "duck dad, me duck."

We had to make a quick trip to Tri-Cities last weekend and we got to go out to dinner with the Brantingham's. The kids were great. Kylie has a little crush on Conner, it is pretty cute.

Puppy

We have a new puppy. It is a eight week old male named "Cooper." He is out of our male dog "Chino." This puppy has a lot of energy, and is a biter. He latches on to Kylie's pants, shorts, boots, or diaper. She just starts to scream and yell "no bite puppy." He is learning, but is still a baby. He fits in well with our family of dogs. Kylie's Two Year Appointment

I took Kylie to her 2 year appointment on Monday. She weighed 32lbs. 2 oz. and was 34 1/2 inches tall. She is right on track with her development and only had to get one shot, YEAH! We got to meet out new doctor, Dr. Herman. We love her! We don't go back until next August, fingers crossed we can make it all winter without a doctor visit.

Nick and Courtney drove me to Sunnyside for my cousin Danielle's championship swim meet Friday night.

Conner's birthday party was last Tuesday and we had a great time. Kylie and Conner ended up getting into the pool. They both enjoyed the cupcakes.

Ryan's 29th birthday was Tuesday. Ryan and I were able to go out to dinner at his favorite "Outback," before cake and ice cream at Conner's birthday. Then I surprise Ryan with a little family birthday at the Callahan's water slide. We had the best time. Everyone enjoyed the water, the food was delicious, cupcakes were so special, and Ryan got to entertain us with his buddy Slag. Thank you to our family and friends that helped me with the party. Swim Lesson

Kylie has her very first lesson on Monday night. She loved it. She asked me Tuesday morning is she was "go fishin mom in the water, o.k.?" We played a game about being a fish in the water. I learned a lot to about how to hold her and to count before she jumps in. We are looking forward to swim lesson every Monday and Wednesday for the next four weeks. Can you tell by her face that she was excited for her first swim lesson.?

Saturday in Ephrata

Ryan and I went into the FREE JoDee Messina concert in Ephrata Saturday night. I wiggled to the front and we were in the fifth row. She has a lot of songs. I had a good time!

The Wood's family(Allie, Julie, Aunt Katy, and Brandon) came and picked up Kylie so Ryan and I could go to the concert.

We had a very busy, but so much fun spending the day with my entire family.

Friday Fun in Tri-Cities

We headed down to Pasco for a Friday with my Aunt Teresa, and cousin Molly. We picked blueberries. It was so easy and they are so delicious. Then we had a picnic lunch and Kylie played in the water at the "Playground of Dreams." It is a free water park in Kennewick right down by the water. We played the really cool wooden park to dry off. Her highlight of the day was several bites of Molly's snow cone. Then we headed to Kohl's, the Mall, and Target. It was so great to get to spend the day with them. They are so good with Kylie and so much help.

Amy and I planned a fun little get together for us mom's last Thursday. We were able to sit and visit and the kids could run wild. It was a fun afternoon with lots of sun and great little lunch. We headed over to Pomeroy for Grandma McKeirnan's 80th Birthday party. It was my mom and aunt who put together a wonderful party. The food was great and I know that my grandma had a good time. I was asked to help with the entertainment. I put together a slide-show for her with 80 years of photos. We had church with her in the morning and then a nice breakfast before we all headed home on Sunday. Happy Birthday Grandma!
