Baby Cow

Kylie has been a little hesitant of the baby cows in the barn over at Nany and Ba's. She waited at the picnic table for Nany to be done feeding them the other day. Ryan and I went with her to feed them one night last week, she did better when the bottle is in the mouth and the calf can't ball. She hates that noise that they make. She clings tight and starts to crawl up me. Ryan brought a baby calf home in the back of the trailer and Kylie only wanted help to pet it. We are making progress. She talks about them all of the time. Kylie is not usually scared of anything, it is just another side of her personality that we got to see.

Kylie has been wanting to ride a "horsey" for a while. Ryan rode with her then she wanted on all by herself. Only one problem she doesn't want Ryan to help hold her. She kicks at his hand or pushes it off the entire time. She wants to ride like a big girl. She loves all animals, but she talks the most about "horsey."

Kylie after school one day last week in her swing. She has to say "Weeee" the entire time, prety funny. She loves it, but only for a minute or two and then she is on to something else.

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather that ended the month of February and started the month of March. Kylie is an outside, animals loving, dirt playing, rock throwing, and stick finding type of girl. Spring time is the best time!

Happy Birthday Papa! We are glad that we got to spend some time with you on Monday night. We hope that you have a really great day! (picture is from November 2008) I think that we need a new picture with Granny and Papa.

Happy Birthday Grandma Shirley!

We forgot to post a birthday wish for Grandma Shirley. Her birthday was on the 4th. We celebrated with dinner at La Cabana and homemade cupcakes from Nanny. It was fun to gather and get to see everybody. Kylie enjoyed the beads at LaCabana. I know that Grandma enjoyed herself. I forgot my camera and then I was waiting to see if her Amaryllis that we gave her would bloom. It is beautiful. Happy Birthday Grandma Shirley.

Happy Birthday Uncle Mike!

Papa's birthday is the 18th and Mike's is the 15th so they blew out the candles together on Monday night.

Kylie got to open her Valentine present from Granny and Papa, she loves this little doggie.

Tonight was my brother Mike's birthday. We love you so much. You are a wonderful uncle and great brother. We are so lucky to get to spend the day with you. I am glad that we got to go to lunch with you and your special dinner at Granny and Papa's. I am so proud of you!

Mid-Winter Break

This is Kylie's love loves for Conner, he was having non of it.

It was Conner's turn to give Kylie a hug and she was not into it.

Royal School District schedules a mid winter break. We had Thursday and Friday as well as Monday off from school. It was a fun couple days we spent with my friend Amy and her son Conner. We headed to the Tri-Cities and had Kylie's 18 month pictures done Thursday morning . Kylie did really well. We met up with Conner and Amy and went to lunch. We tried out the Children's Activity Museum. The kids had fun and enjoyed running, playing, sliding, magnets, trucks, trains, blocks, etc. It was a great afternoon. I got a couple hours to myself to run some errands around Tri-Cities, while Kylie played with Conner at his house. We had a great dinner from PF Changs and then spent the night. We got to play with Conner more Friday morning while Amy went to her appointment. She is getting close and we are excited to meet baby Jack. My mom was in Pasco at my aunt's house. We stopped by to see Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Teresa. We even got to Uncle Dirk before we left. Saturday was a fun relaxing morning. We then headed outside for an entire afternoon of playing. Kylie was exhausted she ended up napping for four hours yesterday as well as going to bed at 9:00. She was a tired girl.

Oreo

Kylie and Daddy love their Oreo and milk after dinner. It is one of their favorite desserts. YUMMY!

Ryan and I took Kylie to play and have dinner in Moses Lake last weekend. We had some errands to do. She loved the play land at McDonald's.
