Memorial Day Weekend

We started our Saturday morning off with cleaning Katie and Bryan's new house. I got to help for a couple hours, then it was nap time. It it gorgeous and we are looking forward to many gatherings. It is finished and they are moving in today, yeah! Conner and Kylie are typical almost two year olds. They were having some sharing problems, but they are getting better and working on it. They ended the night playing together it was cute.
Ryan and Jay BBQing. They enjoyed watching the kids and hanging out outside. It was a great Saturday night in Pasco. Thanks for a wonderful evening of fun and a fabulous dinner.
Kylie is afraid of something, "fire." She gets very nervous around hot and fire. She didn't want anything to do with the sparklers at Jay and Amy's that night.
Conner is such a cutie and he was not afraid at all of the sparklers.
Amy and baby Jack outside enjoying the sparklers.
Kylie giving kisses to cousin Will's dog Gus.
We went to the Fleshman's to help them brand their cattle Sunday afternoon. It was fun to go somewhere new and watch Kylie experience new things. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Aunt Elaine and Kylie in the pig pen.
When we went to Elaine and Mark's for the branding, Kylie talked Elaine into seeing the pigs. She was really into it. Ky was even singing her EIEIO's.
Sunday night we went over and made dinner for Nany and Ba. When we got home Ryan made a fire and we had smores for a dessert. Kylie again was not into the fire, but she did love the treat.
This was Kylie before we went inside. She was mad that I made her go in. She helped me wash the car Monday morning. Ky kept getting into the soap bucket and saying "swim."
We worked on hanging the gate into out yard, so we can now leave Kylie in the yard. It turned out great and Kylie was a good little helper.
Uncle Ry and Caden after his preschool graduation. Ry and Caden have a special bond.
The girls were a little wild. They wanted to run all over the school. They stopped for a cupcake snack.
Monday night after the graduation party we stopped by the cemetery in Royal to visit Grandpa Bud. Kylie loves the horsey on his stone. We love you and miss you Grandpa!

Wiley City Rodeo

Ryan roping on Sunday with his partner Bryce Palmer.
Kylie needed to ride all weekend with Ryan. She was trying to climb the fence to get to him.
Ky enjoyed a movie before bed on Saturday night. We had popcorn and them watched an Elmo dvd.
Caden with his fish.
Kylie on "Sparky Boy"

Last weekend we headed down to a rodeo in Wiley City, before we left we had a busy Friday night. Ryan took Caden fishing and he caught a pretty big fish. He was pretty proud of that fish. He checked in all over and spayed water on it for over an hour. Kylie enjoy the kids horse being saddled. Caden was riding "Sparky Boy" to the branding on Friday and Kylie was able to have a ride before he got put away. When headed early Saturday morning down to Wiley City. Kylie was pretty good at slack until it was time for a nap. We had dinner at Outback and them our movie and popcorn. Sunday morning more roping and them a quick drive back to Royal. It was hot, dirty, and dusty, but all in all we had a good time.

Will and Jody's Wedding

Grandma Shirley with all eleven grandchildren. What beautiful women and handsome men!
Kylie enjoyed the decorations.
Ky and Maddie playing before the wedding started.
Ryan (best man), Cousin Will (groom), Jason (groomsman), and Jace (ring bearer).

Friday night was spent at a beautiful wedding in Othello. Ryan was his cousin Will's best man. Will and Jody celebrated at the First Presbyterian Church in was perfect for Kylie. She has lots of rooms to explore and room to run. She was chasing her cousins all evening. Kylie enjoyed the bubbles the most. Jace was such a cute ring bearer and Ryan did a nice job with his toast.
Thanks for letting us be part of your special day. We wish Will and Jody all the happiness!

Brady and Ashley's Wedding

We went to Brady and Ashley Minor's wedding last night in Ellensburg. It was really fun. We got to watch Jett, Ryan's nephew, ride in on his pony to deliver the rings. It was pretty cute. Kylie was a wild child. She played with all of the older boys in the dirt all evening. It was a fun wedding and lots of people. Ryan and I got to stay and visit, while Nany and Ba took Kylie home for bed. Ryan and I even danced a couple of songs. It seemed like we said "hi" and chatted with every person in the building. Congrats Brady and Ashley! We wish you all the best of luck!

New Edition

When I got home from work on Friday with Kylie we had a visitor show up. Ryan said he found this cute little kitten just walking around in the pasture by our house. Kylie fell in love with this kitten and it is now Kylie's kitten. She is working really hard on holding her correctly, not the choke hold that she used on the puppies. She help me feed the kitty this morning and she loves to chase it around the yard. She loves loves loves this little kitten. It has a lot of personality and seems to get along with Ky so far. Good luck to our new Kitty! Kylie calls it "Foofa" off her favorite show Yo Gabba Gabba.

Mother's Day 2010

This is the sad face I get when I say it is time to come inside.
Kylie with all her favorite things. She has a dog, a ball, a wagon, being outside, and in the sunshine.

We enjoyed dinner with my mom and granny on Friday night. Then Sunday morning was a wonderful breakfast prepared by my husband, yumo. Then we spent the day outside enjoying the sunshine. We went over in the wagon to visit Grandma Shirley. We were invited over to Nany and Ba's for a steak dinner. Kylie was on a roll of showing off all of her new tricks including getting in and out of Nany's pickle crock. I had a wonderful relaxing Mother's Day. I hope all of y0u Mother's enjoyed your day as well.
Happy Mother's Day!
