Allison(6), Brandon(8), Kylie(9 months), and Julie(6)
Allison (6), Kylie (9months), and Julie (6)

We had just a fabulous time in Kentucky. We flew out of Sea Tac last Thursday. We started Friday with a with a walk then some errands, a wonderful lunch with my aunt Katy. The kids had school, so it was just us girls. Then a dinner with the kids before we went to the Hot Air Balloons show. In a park they had about 50 balloons lite up. We arrived around 9 o'clock and they were really beautiful. It ended up getting windy and the balloons had to be deflated. Then Saturday we relaxed went for a walk and played at the park. We took the girls out for dinner, because Brandon had a banquet for Cub Scouts. We played games with the girls. They are really good at charades. Sunday was the trip to Churchill Downs. We bet on horses, mom and I had a mint julep, and enjoyed the grounds. Monday was our last day. We took pictures at the mall with all of the kids, they turned out great. We had one last lunch all together and then shopped a little bit. Mom, Aunt Katie and I went for a really nice dinner at Chris and Ruth's steak house. It was fabulous. The weather was perfect the entire trip, in the 80's everyday. It was a great trip. Kylie was a great traveler. It was so much fun. Thanks to my Aunt Katie and Uncle Brian. Allison and Julie were great helpers and babysitters with Kylie. Brandon was a kick in the pants.

Thanks for the great memories.

Spring Weather

We have been enjoying this beautiful weather. We have been having picnics, blowing bubbles, going for walks, BBQ's, and sitting in the yard on a blanket. I love it when it is in the seventies and sunny. I don't need it much warmer than that. We have been takeing advantage everyday of the sunshine. Today we had to run errands in Royal and decided to stop by the park after our morning walk. Kylie's new favorite thing is the swing. She was smiling and laughing for about 20 minutes. We will have to go up to the park once a week. We are off for Kentucky. He head to Ellensburg tomorrow night and then over to Seattle early Thursday morning. We are heading back to visit my mom's sister, her husband, and their three kids. We are excited to get to visit them, they have yet to meet Missy.

Please say an extra prayer tonight for my sweet niece Maddie who is going in for a cath procedure tomorrow at Children's. We love you Moomers! We know that you will have a quick recovery and be ready for a play date with Kylie when we get back.

Eight Months Old

Kylie is eight months old today. She is getting to be such a big girl. Kylie loves to pull herself up to anything and everything. She is crawling like a mad woman. Nothing is safe in our house anymore. She is learning to clap and talk. She said her first word yesterday, "dada," of course. She starts to really chatter up a storm about three o'clock everyday. Kylie is a very happy and easy going baby. She loves to have the spot light. She sleeps great at night and take two naps totalling two hours, but she sleeps every night from eight until six thirty. What more could I ask for? Her books are her favorite thing right now. Her other favorite is her baby Einstein movies. She eats one fruit and one vegetable a day as well as 30-32 oz of formula. She still hates rice cereal, but my doctor said to try everyday, so I have been. Her head starts shaking back and forth when I even bring out the little bowl that I mix it in. She weights right around 20lbs according to our scale here at home. We love you big girl. My guess is that by her 9 month birthday she will be walking, yikes! I will try to get a video of her clapping her hands, but now she wants to see the camera so she starts to crawl to me. It is making it so difficult.
Happy 8th Month Birthday Rosebud!!

Happy Easter

We had a really great Easter spent with all of our family. Kylie started Easter with getting into her church dress and opening her present from the Easter bunny. She got a swimsuit, sunglasses, and sandals for this summer. We then headed up to church in Royal at 9 o'clock. Then onto Ellensburg for the big lunch. We invited all of my mom's family as well as all of my dad's. We had about thirty people including a couple of Japanese exchange students. The food was delicious and the desserts were just as great. Kylie enjoyed all of the attention and being held the entire day. We left Ellensburg to come back to Royal for dessert with the Stewart's. It was so fun to see the girls, Kylie and Maddie, starting to play together. It was a perfect Easter. As you can see from the slide show. She had many Easter baskets and presents, you are spoiled Rosebud. When we got home and I was putting all of her bunnies, chicks, and ducks into her toy basket, I just had to take a picture of how spoiled she was on her first Easter. You have lots of people that love you sister. We love you too!!! Happy Easter Pretty Girl!

Romantic Getaway

Ryan and I had a mini trip to Leavenworth to spend some time together. It was kinda a make up for Valentine's and my birthday. We had a great time. We stayed at the Icicle Inn and ate dinner at JJ Hills. It was great food and wonderful drinks. We woke up to a beautiful spring day. We had breakfast and then went for a walk and found this river with the beach. We then had a couples message. They were fabulous. It was so nice to get to spend time with Ryan and be so relaxed. We walked around downtown Leavenworth. We of course had to have a bratwurst and some beer for lunch. Then we headed back to Ellensburg where Kylie stayed with Grandma and Grandpa for the night. We had a great time and are planning another trip for next spring.

Last Sunday was the first day of branding for the Stewart bunch and what a beautiful day it was. It was so fun. We decided to go for a walk to Sybil and Tripp. Then Katie and her kids came down and we went over to the corals for some pictures. I took Kylie over with her red boots and Levi's on. She was studying the action pretty intensely. It was so cute. It was a great day. They were able to get about 100 calves branded and ran all of the mother cows through for shots. This is Ryan and I first set of heifers out of our cattle that we bought two year ago. It was a very fun day filled with beautiful weather. What could be better than that?

Happy Birthday Katie!

We had the best time last Friday night. We all went together into Moses Lake. Bryan was our bus driver and we ate at Chicco's. Ryan's favorite pizza place every. It was a very fun night. It was great to get to spend time with the Stewart family. As close as we all live, we are all very busy people. Susie made a very delicious cake. We ended the birthday party with watching the movie "Twilight" at Jason and Syb's house. Hope you had a extra special birthday. You are such a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend. We love you so much! Happy Birthday Katie!!!

I forgot my camera. I know the one time. I will never leave it again.
