Stine and Klaus Came to Visit

Stine and Klaus arrived from Denmark on Monday and were able to make a quick trip to Royal on Thursday. Ryan took Klaus fishing and the girls stayed inside where it was cool. Kylie was great entertainment. She preformed all of her tricks and was laughing at every ones jokes. Kylie took a nap, while we girls Danae, Stine, and myself just got to visit and catch up. It was great to see Stine and meet her boyfriend Klaus. Ryan and I learned a lot from them about their government, taxes, paid one year maternity leave, paid college education, paid health care, and so much more. They have a lot planned for their short two week stay, but we are sure glad they go to come and see us. They are flying back to Denmark on the 11th of August. Thanks for a really great visit and we will see you guys on Saturday at Brandon and Nicole's Wedding.

Monday night was Conner's first birthday in Tri-Cities. Amy and Jay had a BBQ. Kylie and Conner were playing in the house while the food was being cooked. They are really funny together. You can tell they are trying to impress each other. It is fun to have a friend the same age. Amy did a wonderful job and the party was perfect, including her three tiered birthday cake made from scratch. You could tell Conner had a great time and definitely enjoyed his cake and ice cream. Kylie has enjoyed all of the treats and toys in her sand pale. Ryan and I loved the cookies and the strawberry frosting was delicious.
Thanks for setting the bar so high for first birthday parties.
Thank you for inviting us, we had a great time !

Happy Birthday Ryan!

July 3rd
August 14th

Ryan's birthday was on Monday the 27th. We went out to dinner at La Cabana with a couple of his friends on Sunday night. Then Monday morning he had to work for a while, before it got to hot. We left for Tri-Cities at 3:00 p.m. He did some shopping at Sportsman's Warehouse and picked out the rest of his birthday present. I had to run to target to get Kylie some diapers, snacks, etc. Then we went to dinner at Ryan's favorite place, your guessed it Outback Steak House. Kylie was a very good girl, she had to say "hi" to every person in the restraunt. That is her new word and she uses it quiet a bit. We then headed over to Amy and Jay's for Conner's first birthday. Ryan said he had a good 28th birthday. He didn't want a big party so he enjoyed his dinner with our little family. Ryan we love you so much. You are a wonderful dad, loving husband, and a true friend. Happy Birthday Ryan!

McKeirnan Cabin

Kylie and I spent the weekend with my mom's family. My mom, Kylie, and I drove to Pomeroy and had lunch with my Grandma, Cousin Danielle, and Aunt Tammy at the Pataha Mill. It is really neat old building and the food is great. We celebrated my grandma's birthday, which was on July 12th. We then headed to Lewiston to pick up a few last items and my aunt Sharon. Then we headed to the cabin, which is located above the Dworshak State Park. It has beautiful views and was just perfect for our retreat. Friday night we made taco salads and I worked the night away on Kylie's ladybug invites. We woke up Saturday morning to a lovely breakfast and to being work on the invites. Aunt Tammy, Aunt Sharron, Cousin Danielle, Kylie and I took a trip down to the park and played on the toys and in the water. Kylie had a great time splashing around in the water and walking through the mud. We came back for sandwiches and more scrapbooking fun. Aunt Tammy and Danielle will not be able to come to Kylie first birthday so they threw their own birthday party for her. It was cute. Danielle made a banner, and put up streamers. Kylie enjoyed her ladybug cake, as you can see. She was really good as squishing, but eating it, every last crumb. I was able to complete Kylie first year album, minus a couple of pages that I will need some stickers for. I am excited to have two projects crossed off my list for her first birthday party. Sunday night Aunt Sharon cooked dinner for us and we had delicious lasagna, green beans from her garden, a salad, and garlic bread. She also made us some cookies for a snack. Sunday morning was busy eating breakfast, packing up, cleaning, and loading the rigs for the trip home. It was so fun to get to spend some time with family. To the Buyer's a big thank you for letting us use your cabin for the weekend. Thanks Aunt Tammy, and Cousin Danielle for helping so much with Kylie, she did enjoy her nature walks.

Tricks

I have been trying to capture rollem rollems for about a month now. Kylie had a great morning nap, a good lunch, and then I distracted her in the pool. I was trying to get her to clap the entire time, but she wouldn't, next time. She did however preform her "so bigs, rollems, and kisses." She was a very tired girl from all that swimming, so she was ready for another nap after a quick strawberry snack.

We love summer time!

Raspberries

Kylie had the best time figuring our how to pick raspberries from our bush the other morning with Ryan. Ryan only showed her once and she picked and ate the entire little bush until there were none left. It was really cute she worked and worked. Here are a couple of cute pictures from that morning. She loves fruit and raspberries are no exception.

Eleven Months Old

Kylie Rose Stewart is full of energy. I can officially say she is walking. She started with just a couple steps each time and is now off. She is a spit ball of fire with a pretty good even temperament. Kylie says "hi" to everyone she meets. She loves to give high fives to all of her uncles. Rosebud is famous for her rollem rollems. I do have to brag and say they are pretty good for an 11 month old. She is also very good at "hi" waves and "bye byes," which are usually both hands going as fast a she can make them go. She claps when she hears people cheering, including the t.v. We were parked with our horse trailer next to a little league baseball field and when the people at the park would cheer. Rosebud would be just clapping as loud as she could. She has decided that she is a big girl and big girls don't drink baba's, so she is down to two or three bottles a day. She is a great eater and shocked Ryan and I by eating an entire grilled cheese sandwich the other day for lunch. Kylie love her fruits, her favorite is watermelon. She is such a busy girl, but a very good little girl. You are keeping Mom and Dad busy, but that is a good thing.

You are the best Rosebud!

We are looking forward as you continue to grow and learn new things. We can't wait to see what you can accomplish this next month, maybe blowing kisses.

Fourth of July

Mommy, Daddy, and Rosebud before we let on our ride.
Daddy and Rosebud at the roping in her red, white and blue dress.

Kylie was helping out the landscaping crew by trying to eat every clover in the grass.
Ryan and Kylie trying out the big boy's tricycle
Rosebud loved Nany's swing in her tree
Kylie and Daddy waving "hi" to Mommy, Nany, and Ba.

We started our weekend of fun with playing at Nany and Ba's house on Friday morning. We came to wish Nany a Happy Birthday while Daddy roped with Ba. We played in the dirt, rode the trike, and used the swing. Friday night was dessert for Nany's birthday at Aunt Katie and Uncle Bryan's. Happy Birthday Nany!

Saturday we headed to the roping in Wenatchee. We started with lunch at Red Robin, which is always delicious. We had fun. Kylie loved her balloon that was the best part along with a half of a grilled cheese sandwich, that I never ever thought that she would eat. We met up with Nany and Ba at the roping. We found some shade, had an ice cream, and enjoyed time with our Daddy. By the time we headed home she had crashed out. I enjoyed the show on the way home driving from Wenatchee backed to Royal. There were some beautiful fireworks.

We decide to have our Fourth of July tonight. Ryan and I took the four wheeler and headed down to the lake to fish this afternoon. We ended up swimming around and enjoy the beautiful weather. Kylie stayed with Nany to keep her company while Be went back to the roping. For dinner we had BBQ burgers, potato salad, watermelon, lemonade, and for dessert a popsicle. Then Daddy lit some fire works for Kylie. She wasn't so sure of the entire thing.

Happy 4th of July to all of you!

Happy Birthday Nany!

We had a really nice evening at Katie and Bryan's for dessert to celebrate Nany's Birthday. Friday was such a beautiful day and the evening was so pleasant. We enjoyed root beer floats or ice cream sundaes with all of the fixens. Then we headed outside for some four wheeler rides, swings, and slides. All the kids are at such a fun age, busy but oh so fun.

Happy Birthday Nany! We love you so much! You are the very best!

Amber and new baby Wyatt

We had the best time in Ellensburg on Wednesday. We went to the Alderman's to have a pool party. It was a great time. The lunch was great, thanks Amy for all the hard work. The kids got to play in the pool and run around while us ladies enjoyed some chit chat. The kids also enjoyed bubbles, popsicles, cookies, and juice. In attendance was Amy Brantingham (Alderman) with her son Conner, Kayla Carlson (Stougard) with her sons Conner and Chase, Sydnee Sterkle (Drinkwater) with her son Parker, Amber Green (Allen) with her son Wyatt, Danae Robertson, Stephanie Ulmer, and myself. Do you see a trend? Yes all of my close friends from high school have boys. It was great to see everybody and catch up. I miss these girls so much! Let's do it again some time soon!
