Kylie with Grandma Shirley

We had a great time tonight. The suburban of kids made four stops. Ryan, Kylie, and I were picked up by Aunt Katie, and her three kids, as well as Uncle Jason, Aunt Sybil, and cousin Jett. Our first stop was Grandma Shirley's. She always makes the best carmel popcorn. Then we headed down the creek to visit Anita and Larry, are family friends, she had the best treat bags for the little girls. Thanks Anita for the cute monkey. Then we headed up the hill to Aunt Shannon and Uncle Donny's. Our final stop was at Nany and Ba's. Kylie got the cutest Halloween book from her Nany and Ba. We were entertained by the boys all evening. They were on a roll with their talent show. Cousin Kaylee, the ladybug, stopped by to hold Kylie.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Gray for the Monster book.
We had a great first Halloween with Kylie the butterfly!

Halloween Party

This was Kylie before she went to bed last night.
I thought that you should see her in her antennas awake, it is just too cute!

She had just too much fun!
We went to a Halloween party tonight that Aunt Katie organized with some of her friends. It was a huge success. They had decorated a barn with really great Halloween decorations and feed us all dinner. It was delicious. They had lots going on a bonfire, a jumping house, craft station, and other games. Kylie had a great time showing off her costume and even gave her cousin Caden, who was the black Spiderman as few smiles. She had way to much fun and decided to sleep through the rest of the party. Thanks for inviting us, it was a great party. I just can't wait for next year's party.

Bath Time

Kylie loves her bath, but she is getting a little big to get a bath in the sink.
She just kicks back and relaxes. It is pretty cute.

Pumpkin Patch

We started the weekend with a trip to grandma and grandpa's. I decided to get some scrapbooking done. We planned a trip to North Bend to get started on Christmas shopping and to get Kylie a costume for Halloween. It was a huge success. We had a great time and got a lot accomplished. We ended the trip on Tuesday with lunch with Grandma, Uncle Matt, and Becka. We also surprise Grandpa and his friends, we didn't even know he was eating lunch at the Roadhouse Grill.

I was checking with everyone for cute things to do in October and everyone was making plans for the pumpkin patch. I decided while I was in town visiting my mom that we should go to Dusty's Pumpkin Patch and take some photos. It was a beautiful fall day and we had fun with Ms. Kylie.

Two Month Doctor Appointment

Kylie had a great report at the doctors office today. She gained and is now up to 11lbs 13 oz. She also grew a lot in height she is 23 and 1/4 inches long. Kylie is the 75% for her weight and in the 90% for height. My mom had to take over during the shots, I just could do it. Maybe next time. Kylie got three shots in her legs that she needed and did great. Th doctor said she is right on track with her development and she has extra strength in her legs, arms, and neck. It was good news all the way around!

Jake & Ashlie's Wedding

We had a fun trip to see some of Ryan's friends. Ryan's team roping partner for a couple years ago got married. We decided to drive to Pendleton. It was a really nice wedding and great reception. It was fun for Ryan to get to visit with his friends before he will be stuck in Royal all winter. It was a busy day. Ryan competed in the Old Dog Classic, which is a dog trial at his parents house. Ryan's dog Babe did great and it was fun to watch her work the cattle so well.

Maddie's Blood Drive

Kylie's cousin Maddie has a heart condition. She was born March 13, 2008 ~ 5 lbs. 14oz. Madison was prenatally diagnosed with the Congenital Heart Defect, Pulmonary Atresia, and is a Hypoplastic Right Heart (HRHS) baby who has undergone 2 of the 3 open-heart surgeries (BT Shunt & Bi-Directional Glenn) to "re-plumb" her heart, all in the first four months of her life. Her final surgery, the Fontan, will complete the repair and her heart will always function as a single-ventricle. The community along with Katie, Ryan's sister put together a blood drive in her honor. It was a huge success. This is Maddie's heart story and a glimpse at their family! Please view her blog at http://www.allredbabygirl.blogspot.com/ for more information.
