We went to my aunt's house in Pasco for a really nice dinner. Her three kids, my cousins, were in Washington. My cousin Jason lives in Minnesota, my cousin Jared lives in Ohio, and my cousin Molly goes to the Unversity of Portland. We had a wonderful turn out. Kylie was once again the entertainment for all. It was a nice trip. I am glad that my mom packed the portable crib. Kylie took a two hour nap and I got to enjoy catching up with my family. I am sorry about not taking many pictures, it has been a long week. I must have not been in the mood. Thanks Aunt Teresa for a wonderful get together. We enjoyed ourselves.

We headed up to Kerry and Craig's for the Stewart Christmas party Saturday night. We enjoyed delicious fajitas. Kylie got another baby doll and was a busy girl. She ran wild, eating barbie accessories, while Ryan beat all of the little kids at ping pong. Ryan entertained the crowd with Jake's new electric guitar. The men were busy playing cards and the women busy chatting away. It was great to get together, relax, and enjoy everyone. Kylie didn't take a nap and was a little tired. I went home with Kylie early, but Ryan stayed and enjoyed the time with his family.

We made the trip to Ellensburg Christmas Day. We got there around noon and opened presents. Kylie loved my dad's golf putter. She was ready to play with that all day instead of opening presents. After a couple time chasing her up the stairs we got her to open her presents. She got a doll set up from my mom and dad. She get to keep all her toys in her playroom. She also had fun showing everyone about her play food and delivering food to each person in her shopping basket. Kylie also mega blocks, which she loves to break whatever you have created. She was spoiled with lots of clothes and toys. Ryan got a gun holster and belt for a pistol he had. He also got a beautiful headstall from my mom and dad. He was thrilled. I received so many wonderful gifts it is hard to list them all. Let's just say we were blessed again by another wonderful Christmas. We had a great prime rib prepared by my dad. We also were filled to the brim with all of the wonderful food. It was fun to get to just relax the rest of the day and visit. We headed home that evening after we had dessert. What a wonderful Christmas!

Ryan and I woke up to Kylie chit chatting away in her crib at 7:30. She was pooped from her fun Christmas Eve at Nany and Ba's house playing with all of the kids. We put her down in the living room and she ran over to her presents from Santa. She was sure she needed to open up her big present from Santa. She got a zoo with all the animals from A through Z. She loves it. They all make sounds and she loves putting an animal on the ice slide, she says "WEEEE" every time. We made a nice breakfast, relaxed, played with her Santa presents, she took a nap, and then we got ready to go to Ellensburg for Christmas with my family. Merry Christmas Baby Girl!

We had a lovely Christmas Eve at Nany and Ba's. We got over there around 1:00 p.m. We ate a delicious prime rib dinner with all the fixens. Everything was so delicious. Kylie enjoyed eating at the big kid table this year. She sat by Maddie and was stealing from her plate the entire time. She also got some punch and enjoyed it a little too much. Then it was on to opening presents. We are so blessed. Kylie got a Bitty Baby and a cute homemade wooden baby bed. Susie also made her a quilt to match the one she got for her birthday. Too cute. She has taken her baby everywhere. Ryan got some really great boots and I received a beautiful Christmas quilt made by Susie. It is gorgeous! We are so spoiled. We received many wonderful gifts and so many homemade treasures. Thanks for making our Christmas so special. Jason, Sybil, Jett, and Tripp had to take off to Oregon for Christmas with her family, we missed you guys. The men watched a movie and the women chatted all afternoon until it was time for round two, desserts, and a game of Pictionary. We had a great time! We headed home to put Kylie to bed and relax. Santa was on his way!

Happy Birthday Nick!

Blowing out his candles and making his wish.
Kylie enjoying all of the attention.
I tried to get a picture of my brother and his girlfriend Courtney with Kylie, but she was done and ready for bed.

Kylie and I were able to make a trip to Ellensburg to help celebrate my brother Nick's birthday. I was able to finish some projects and the last of my shopping. We went to dinner that night at Granny and Papa's. It was a large group, but so much fun.
Happy Birthday Uncle Nick!

Kylie popping out of the box and entertaining everyone.
Kylie with her Aunt Tammy. Trying all of the cookies on the cookie tray.
Aunt Tammy was the winner of my homemade gift. I made my first quilted project, with the help of my mother-in-law. I am pretty pound of my "Churn Dash" table runner. I think that I am hooked.
Grandma and Kylie in her pretty sparkly dress.
The Entire Gang.

We traveled to Pomeroy for a Christmas get together with my mom's family yesterday. My mom and dad came to pick me up with all three of my brother's along with Kylie and I. We made it to Pomeroy a little late. Kylie slept most of the way in the back seat with Grandma. We were able to eat lunch. My grandma has had a tradition of guessing the money. She had a container of pennies and then a tube of quarters. Let's just say I was not the winner. I was way off. We had a white elephant gift exchange with homemade gifts. I was able to take home a towel and cinnamon rolls. Then we just sat round and visited. I tried to do a chocolate fondue that was something new and different. Kylie looked so cute in her Christmas overalls. My grandma McKeirnan made them for Kylie and she jingled all the way around the room. Kylie also was pretty and sparkly in her dress from Danielle. Merry Christmas McKeirnan's it was a fun get together!
I am going to end with a little tid bit of our way home. I would hate to forget this trip in years to come. Two of my brother's were getting sick the entire way home and it was pretty foggy so it was a slow ride home. But, we made it home safe and sound. MEMORIES!

Talking

Kylie is a pretty good little talker and she has been talking for a while. She has been using her words more and more to tell us what she wants. Last night we were eating tacos, one of her favorites, and was in a pretty good mood. I got her to say hi, love you, piekadoo (aka peekaboo), and bye.

We had the best time this last weekend. We left Thursday at noon and headed to Oregon for a fun weekend with my good friend Amy, her husband Jay, and their little boy who is 2 weeks older than Kylie. Conner and Kylie got along pretty well. Friday we slept in and enjoy a relaxing day. Amy and I went shopping in the village and we all took a tour of the lodge. We had to check out the beautiful gingerbread creations. Saturday the men were off the play in the snow. Jay and Ryan took a 6 hour snowmobile ride up to a lodge to eat lunch. It has snowed the night before and it was warm up in the 40's and they has the best ride. The women stay back at the cabin and took the kids out in the snow. Kylie enjoyed her time in the snow. She wanted to eat the snow and wipe it off everything she could. Conner wasn't the biggest fan, but it was fun to see what they would do. We had a wonderful dinner at the lodge of Saturday night. I have to brag, because they were both really really well behaved. Kylie enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs. She had to pick out the longest noodle and suck it up. Over the weekend we cooked up some really great food, watched a couple movies, played "Sequence," and had fun soaking in the hot tub. The best part for Ryan and I was just to relax. We enjoyed out visit with Jay, Amy, and Conner and our trip to Sunriver. We had a great time and thanks so much for inviting us.

Sunny Winter Day

Kylie and I enjoyed the sunny winter day yesterday. One of her favorite things to do is open and close the gate to the dog kennel. It was cold and our job was to water the dogs and horses. She was a great little helper.

Wink

Kylie has been doing this for a while, but no one would believe us that she could wink on demand. She was doing it the other night for Ryan at dinner and finally I caught it in a picture. This is what Kylie really looks like, her hair is wild woman, she also loves my necklaces and bracelets, and she never has socks on. She loves chips and dip as well.

Fifteen Month Doctor Appointment

Kylie was a little late with her fifteen month check up, but we needed a booster for her flu shot and it wasn't due until the 24th so we had to wait until now. She did really well. She is 32" tall and grew two inches and she is still 24 pounds, which is the same as her twelve month appointment. Her doctor is not worried at all about the weight, because Kylie is such an active child and burns off all of her calories. She got four shots a Vericella (chicken pox), a DTap (diphtheria, tetnusl, pertusis), a regular flu shot and the H1N1 flu shot. She did really well. The first two pokes she didn't even cry then the second two she let em have it. She was really funny with her new doctor. She was trying to feed her snacks to her doctor. She also crawled up in her lap to have her read a story to her. The final things was Kylie trying to put her feet in the doctors mouth when she was listening to her. The doctor was great and of course Kylie really liked her. We hope she stays at the Clinic. We ran a couple of errands in town and then headed home for dinner with daddy. Before bed Kylie started with a stomach flu and it ended around mid night. I stayed home from school today to nurse her back to health, haha. She woke up running around the house and asking for her "baba." I guess is was the six hour flu for Ky! Hope all of you stay well, Take Care!
