Christmas 2012

We have enjoyed our time over winter break the three of us. Ryan has been a little busy.
We have had a lot of cups of cocoa.
 Cheers!

Kylie had her cousin Maddie and friend Aftyn over for a Christmas party.
We decorated cookies, had lunch, sang Christmas carols for Grandma Shirley, visited puppies, made a snowman ornament, played with red glittery peppermint play dough, and make a candy cane Christmas card. I think that girls had a great time.

Stewart's Christmas on the 22nd with all 8 grand kids and rest of the Stewart group joined us for dinner and visiting.
Ryan with his mom, dad, sister Katie, and brother Jason.
Our family in front of Nany & Ba's Christmas tree.
I got a picture of Grady opening his barn from Nany & Ba.
Kylie got an American Girl and looks just like her.
Christmas Eve dinner at Katie and Byan's, delicious food, lots of playing, and fun had by all. Ryan and Kylie enjoyed a dip in the hot tub while Grady didn't like the hot.
This Christmas was very relaxing and easy.

Kylie on Christmas morning opening her build a bear, Claris, Rudolph's girlfriend.
Grady got a backpack and tractors.
Kylie in her Royal Knight cheer outfit that Santa brought her.
We spent Christmas day in Ellensburg. Nick and Megan opening up gifts.
Mike and Cristin opening up gift before we had a big dinner.
Uncle Matt and Grady checking out some tractors.
Kylie with Grandma and her new Barbie car.
 The family.
The kids and I spend from Tuesday mid day till Thursday evening in Ellensburg at my mom and dad's. It was fun for the kids to play in the snow, we have not had enough to do anything with in Royal. Dad likes it that way for our cattle, they are doing really well with the warm weather and lack of snow.
We built a snowman in the backyard. Fun Chrismas break so far, a party still to go and lots of fun with the McKeirnan's. Looking forward to the NEW YEAR, bring on 2013!

December Catch Up

Kylie and I attended the 3rd grade program for cousin Jace. They did the Polar Express and it was fabulous. Ky enjoyed the time after wards with cups of cocoa and a cookie with her friends.
Our dog Babe had puppies before Thanksgiving. Ky is in love! We have to visit the puppies daily, over at the barn.
Kylie helped set up Grandma's nativity last Sunday morning after breakfast at the Yellow Church.
Kylie with our cousin Leah after he performance in the Nutcracker at CWU on Saturday night. Leah was great. It was fun to point her out. We were able to go to the show with Grandma, Nany, Granny, Aunt Teresa, Aunt Dana, Papa, Uncle James, Megan, and Mommy. We had a fun dinner out then a great time at the ballet. Ky was into the show and enjoyed the entire performance.
Ryan surprised me with a dinner, wine tasting, a room, and breakfast at Cave B last Friday night. We had a great time and I enjoyed a full night sleep. It was just what we needed, Ry has been working a lot and it was nice to have time together just the two of us.
I had a work party on Friday. We didn't have school. I got to spend the day with Nany and Aunt Katie. I made my kids stockings. They are made out of the fabric that my Christmas quit that Susie made me two years ago and the tree skirt she made me last year. It was a fun day of visit and relaxing and delicious soup.

Cookies

We made cookies on Monday night, but I got distracted folding laundry and this is what happened. We will have to make another batch. We are making memories. Happy Holidays!

Gingerbread House

Ky made this beautiful creation with Grandpa yesterday while Grady and I were in Yakima shopping with Uncle Nick, Megan, and Uncle Matt. We had a very fun and productive day. I love spending time with my family, nothing like it.  I am feeling pretty good about my christmas shopping. Ky is very proud of her gingerbread house. Happy Holidays!

Turkey Day 2012

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent in Ellensburg with family. We spent most of Thursday eating, visiting, and watching movies. The kids and I spent the night and enjoyed Friday in our pjs watching movies, visiting with my brothers, eating, and online shopping. It has been a very relaxing break and I feel energize for the next couple weeks till Winter break. We have a lot of fun planned in the next couple weeks, but my kids need to stay well. We have been non stop sickness and I hope that we are over it and get to enjoy the Holidays. Happy Turkey Day!

Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy visited Kylie after she had a baby molar pulled at the dentist the day before Halloween. She was a trooper and barely needed meds the first day. She was excited to see the tooth fairy box was empty and she had left her $4.00 which were very very sparkly. Ky looks at me and says "She new how old I am!"

Halloween

Kylie was a purple fairy and Grady was a lion for Halloween this year.
The night before Halloween, the kids cleaned the pumpkins. Then Ryan was busy carving our pumpkins. We loved eating popcorn and watching "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown."

Happy Halloween 2012!
We trick or treated five neighbors including Grandma Shirley, Aunt Shannon &Uncle Donny, and Nany & Ba. Grady was getting into it. He finally roared at the last two houses. Kylie was twirling and showing off her sparkly hair.

Anniversary

Ryan and I spent our anniversary at home with a nice meal, tacos.  The rest of the evening was playing games, reading stories, and singing/dancing. I love nights like that.

Ryan and I were able to get away for a night in Tacoma to celebrate a new marriage of Ry's cousin Jenni and new man Geoff. We enjoyed our family, drinks, dinner, dancing, and some fun. Love getting to spend time with Ry. Congrats Jenni and Geoff!

Disney Ice

Kylie and I had a great date night at the beginning of October. We went to the Toyota Center in Kennewick to watch Disney on Ice. We had a dinner date with my friend Amy and baby girl Stella. Then the show, it was fabulous. It was a little chilly we were front row on the ice. They did three mini shows and Tangled was our favorite. We stopped for ice cream on our way home.
Love me some Ky time.
