This was today. Kylie refused to take off these boots. She loves loves Popsicles! She starts asking for one when she wakes up.
This picture was from last week. Kylie was telling the dogs to get out of the arena.
We have been so busy this month and the last week is no different. We had a wonderful Father's Day dinner at Katie and Bryan's new house last Thursday. We celebrated with steaks and a wonderful dinner. The fathers were in heaven they got to watch the final game of the NBA on Bryan's new TV in his theater. It is pretty cool. The kids just play and play, it is so much fun. Happy Father's Day Ba, Bryan, and Ryan! (no pics sorry) Then the weekend of roping and Kylie's first movie. We saw some Toy Story 3 items on a shelf at Wal-Mart and she tells me "Movie Mom." Sunday was suppose to be relaxing for Ryan. Kylie helped me make a nice breakfast then Ryan got a call that cows were out so we spent the morning in the truck helping daddy. Then the afternoon was naps for all and nice dinner of, Ryan's favorite, tacos. The rainbow was after dinner. Ryan went out to feed and saw this beautiful rainbow. Then right before bed Kylie was standing on the laundry basket and all of a sudden a big crash and then blood and crying. She cut the top of her mouth, but she is ok now. She will ask Ryan or I for a kiss to make it better. Monday night we went to Ellensburg for Father's Day dinner with my dad and Papa. Mike cooked the steak and they were great. Nick make dirty potatoes and wow they were awesome. Yummy. Tuesday was a relaxing day at home in our little pool. Then we went to the arena to ride "Little Fella," Kylie's horse for now. Wednesday was a very fun day. We went to the Babies N Books at the library and then t \o the water park in Moses. ( I forgot my camera) Then we went downtown for the farmer's market and an ice cream cone. Kylie went swimming for the second time in one day with her aunt Katie and her cousin Maddie. Today we are just relaxing and enjoying summer.

Movie

My mom and I took Ky down to the Farmer's Market in Ellensburg. We found lots of good stuff. I love this time of year. We tried to watch Ryan's roping, but Kylie only wanted to ride with Daddy. We went back to my mom and dad's for lunch and a nap. She slept for 3 1/2 hours. I was waiting and waiting for her to wake up. We then went to Toy Story 3. She loved it. She was great for the first hour and 15 minutes, then she started to talk and wanted to walk around. Kids under 3 are free and it was a matinee. It was great fun. She loves popcorn, so that was fun treat. We finished the evening with watching Daddy for a couple runs at the roping before we headed home.

Steen and Chancey Come to Visit

Ryan's really good friend from college, Steen, comes up to the Northwest for part of the summer. This year he brought his girlfriend Chancey. They are both wonderful and we enjoyed the time they were able to spend with us in Royal. Some of the activities included roping, BBQ, fishing, relaxing, a movie, and shoeing lessons for Ryan. Thanks for visiting!

Trip to Tri-Cities

We made trip to Tri-Cities on Friday. We met my friend Amy with her two boys for lunch at Country Mercantile. The lunch was delicious and the kids got to ride on the Merry Go Round. My cousin Molly works their and spent her break with us outside at the rides. We then went back to Amy's for some fun in the pool. Kylie enjoyed the water and loves going down the slide every which way. She dunked several times and no problem, she was back in swimming some more. Amy watched Kylie while I headed into town for some errands. I picked up Kylie and my cousin and headed back to town for more errands. The night ended with a very sleepy girl on the ride home. We had a fun day and thanks for all of the help Amy and Molly! We are planning another trip to the Playground of Dreams.

Kylie loved the first watermelon of the season!
This was her favorite, the slide.

It was Emma's birthday today in Moses Lake at the park. We had a great time. Kylie got to see her friends Emma and Jaya as well as meet some new friends. Emma turned 2 and is a very sweet little girl. The BBQ was great and all of the salads were so yummy. Kylie enjoyed the kids park. We also got to blow bubbles, which is always fun. Kylie got to have a frog cupcake that was just awesome. Thanks for inviting us, we had a great time. Happy Birthday Emma!

We went to Andrea's birthday party last night. Kylie had a great time. Kylie got to try out a slip n' slide and a trampoline. Andrea is the daughter of my aid, Estella, that works in my classroom. Andrea turned 4 and the party was a success. The food was delicious, plenty of entertainment, dessert was wonderful, and the piƱata was so much fun. Ryan has insisted that I find a cowgirl or horse for Kylie's second birthday party. Thanks for inviting us, we had a great time!
Happy Birthday Andrea!

Tom Petty

"Problem Here"

Kylie has been helping in the evenings with little tasks. She wants to help clean up and she is pretty good with a broom. I was using the Windex to clean the mirrors in the bathroom. I returned it to under the sink, but got busy and didn't lock the cupboard. I returned to the kitchen to a squirt of Windex on my pants. She squirted the floor one more time before I got the bottle and turned the sprayer to "off." She tried to quirt again and tells me "problem here." I was laughing so hard that I couldn't get mad about the quirts. Kylie is a very vocal kid and has picked up so many words from Grandma, Grandpa, Nany, Ba, and all her aunts, uncles, and cousins. You have to be careful what you say around Kylie Rose. She will repeat it all.

Paint Paint Some More

Last Saturday when the weather was beautiful Kylie wanted to paint some more. We decided to try it outside this time. Kylie was trying to add the paint to her paper, but it didn't make it there. She ended up slipping and sliding n the paint for a while that landed on our porch. She came up with it and she was pretty proud of herself. Check out this girls art work!

Pudding Cake

Last night Grandma Shirley brought us some chocolate pudding cake. It was delicious. Kylie wanted to use her plastic kitchen silverware at dinner last night. She was eating her cake with the knife, when I left to change the laundry. When I returned she was asking to get down. I didn't even look at her until she was in her bedroom in front of the mirror saying "Kylie is funny." She used the knife to spear the pudding all over her face and then wanted to see her work in the mirror. This girl is keeping us busy.

Our Yard Project

"Sunny Days"
Ryan and I worked Monday afternoon on hanging the gate. It turned out really great. Ryan created and constructed the gate. I am impressing with his creative ability. You are the best Ryan! Kylie has been enjoying the extra time in the yard. Last night she spent an hour digging in the dirt.

Memorial Day Weekend

We started our Saturday morning off with cleaning Katie and Bryan's new house. I got to help for a couple hours, then it was nap time. It it gorgeous and we are looking forward to many gatherings. It is finished and they are moving in today, yeah! Conner and Kylie are typical almost two year olds. They were having some sharing problems, but they are getting better and working on it. They ended the night playing together it was cute.
Ryan and Jay BBQing. They enjoyed watching the kids and hanging out outside. It was a great Saturday night in Pasco. Thanks for a wonderful evening of fun and a fabulous dinner.
Kylie is afraid of something, "fire." She gets very nervous around hot and fire. She didn't want anything to do with the sparklers at Jay and Amy's that night.
Conner is such a cutie and he was not afraid at all of the sparklers.
Amy and baby Jack outside enjoying the sparklers.
Kylie giving kisses to cousin Will's dog Gus.
We went to the Fleshman's to help them brand their cattle Sunday afternoon. It was fun to go somewhere new and watch Kylie experience new things. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Aunt Elaine and Kylie in the pig pen.
When we went to Elaine and Mark's for the branding, Kylie talked Elaine into seeing the pigs. She was really into it. Ky was even singing her EIEIO's.
Sunday night we went over and made dinner for Nany and Ba. When we got home Ryan made a fire and we had smores for a dessert. Kylie again was not into the fire, but she did love the treat.
This was Kylie before we went inside. She was mad that I made her go in. She helped me wash the car Monday morning. Ky kept getting into the soap bucket and saying "swim."
We worked on hanging the gate into out yard, so we can now leave Kylie in the yard. It turned out great and Kylie was a good little helper.
Uncle Ry and Caden after his preschool graduation. Ry and Caden have a special bond.
The girls were a little wild. They wanted to run all over the school. They stopped for a cupcake snack.
Monday night after the graduation party we stopped by the cemetery in Royal to visit Grandpa Bud. Kylie loves the horsey on his stone. We love you and miss you Grandpa!
