Swim Lesson

Kylie has her very first lesson on Monday night. She loved it. She asked me Tuesday morning is she was "go fishin mom in the water, o.k.?" We played a game about being a fish in the water. I learned a lot to about how to hold her and to count before she jumps in. We are looking forward to swim lesson every Monday and Wednesday for the next four weeks. Can you tell by her face that she was excited for her first swim lesson.?

Saturday in Ephrata

Ryan and I went into the FREE JoDee Messina concert in Ephrata Saturday night. I wiggled to the front and we were in the fifth row. She has a lot of songs. I had a good time!
The Wood's family(Allie, Julie, Aunt Katy, and Brandon) came and picked up Kylie so Ryan and I could go to the concert.

Kylie and I headed into Ephrata early Saturday morning for the 3 on 3 tournament. My three brothers play on the Ellensburg Turtles. They played really great and Kylie enjoyed sitting on the curb watching the action. We all went to lunch and then off to Splash Zone. We had a very busy, but so much fun spending the day with my entire family.

Friday Fun in Tri-Cities

We headed down to Pasco for a Friday with my Aunt Teresa, and cousin Molly. We picked blueberries. It was so easy and they are so delicious. Then we had a picnic lunch and Kylie played in the water at the "Playground of Dreams." It is a free water park in Kennewick right down by the water. We played the really cool wooden park to dry off. Her highlight of the day was several bites of Molly's snow cone. Then we headed to Kohl's, the Mall, and Target. It was so great to get to spend the day with them. They are so good with Kylie and so much help.

We headed over to Pomeroy for Grandma McKeirnan's 80th Birthday party. It was my mom and aunt who put together a wonderful party. The food was great and I know that my grandma had a good time. I was asked to help with the entertainment. I put together a slide-show for her with 80 years of photos. We had church with her in the morning and then a nice breakfast before we all headed home on Sunday. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Royal City has Summer Fest the second weekend in July. They have a lot of activities. We missed the BBQ, music, and fireworks on Friday night, because of the reunion dinner. I was asked to help with the FREE cowboy breakfast Saturday morning. The teachers cooked breakfast for 500 community members. It was a big success. It was fun to get to see students out of the classroom. I had a good time. After breakfast it was on to the parade. It was hot, but we made it through. Kylie loved seeing Maddie and the horses. The candy this girl scored was great, kept her busy! We then headed out to my Grandma's 80th birthday party.

My friends from high school talked me into setting up a Face book account. I was working on that yesterday evening and Ryan was suppose to be watching Ky. I was finishing up some dinner realize that Ryan was asleep and this is what my baby was doing. She calls them pretties. This is the second time this has happened, but we are making improvements because the first time she just licked the mascara off the stick.

Happy Birthday Nany!

I had a wonderful day with Ryan's mom. Her birthday is the 3rd of July. I left Kylie with my mom and us girls went the farmer's market in Moses Lake, shopping at "Real Deals" and lunch at Michael's Bistro. I have so much fun with Katie and Susie, Miss Maddie joined us as well. They talked me into looking at new modular home. We spent a good hour walking through some. It was fun to think about our next step in life, a bigger house.

Then we grabber Kylie in Royal. Susie, myself and Kylie headed to Wenatchee to watch Ryan and Ba rope. Kylie got to ride with Ryan and loved it. She threw a huge fit when she had to get off, so Ryan could rope his steer. Then we went to dinner at at Mexican restaurant. Kylie was so funny. She was entertaining us all and even the people next to us. The best part for Ky was Nany dessert they brought after they sang the song.

We hope that you had a very happy birthday! I am lucky to get to spend the day with you!
Happy Birthday Mom/Susie/Nany! (picture to come)

Happy 4th of July

I love this pic. It shows how windy it really was last night.
It was a windy night in Royal City. We decided to light up some sparklers and do a Roman Candle. Kylie was much better about the hot sparkler this time. We were able to spend the 4th at home for the first time in my 7 year of being with Ryan. We are usually going to 5-8 rodeos or at a roping. We enjoyed the relaxing evening and even rented a movie after dinner. Ryan couldn't stay away he spend Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning at a roping in Wenatchee. He won first for the Sunday roping, so he was a happy boy!

Happy 4th to all of YOU!
