Surf n' Slide

Allison, Brandon, and Julie enjoying some ice cream cones, yummy yummy!

Kylie and I made a trip to Moses Lake today. Ryan needed some items from the feed story. Kylie and I also went to the “Babies and Books” program at the library. She loves all of the kids, songs, stories, snack, and toys. After the stories we went and took a stroller ride around downtown. Moses Lake is a has a really cute downtown. When we were done with lunch we headed over to the water park to meet my cousins for an afternoon of run. They are out from Kentucky for a couple of weeks. We are trying to fill their summer with fun things to do. Kylie enjoyed the sprinklers. We also tried out the tube ride, which Kylie loved. She even fell asleep during the ride. They have the cutest sand and playground but it was just too hot for my girl. It was a such a fun time, we know that the next nice day we will be at Surf n’ Slide. I do believe that Ryan was a little jealous, maybe we will invite him next time.

Ty and Brooke's Wedding

Ryan roped with Ty Thomas last year. Ty and Brooke had a beautiful wedding in Okanogan last Saturday that we were able to attend. The wedding was held at Brook’s family’s ranch. It was a beautiful wedding. They got married at sunset and let doves fly at the end of the ceremony. It was perfect weather especially because it had rained off and on during the day as well as the two days after. They were very lucky. It was just a fun time had by all. Kylie and I had to retreat the trailer fairly early because it got pretty chilly, but not before a dance with out baby girl. Congratulations Ty and Brooke!

Happy Father's Day

Kylie loves to be with her Daddy. Her face just lights up when Ryan comes inside. She is a daddy's girl. Ryan you are the best daddy.

Happy Father's Day! Ryan insisted on me putting this picture up, so this is it!
The Fish, The Dad, and The Kylie

We had a family picture on Friday night with my dad's family, we hadn't had a professional picture done in 10 years. After the pictures we had a wonderful lasagna dinner at my Granny and Papa's. It was a great to get to see my dad's sister and her family. Ryan went to a roping their in Ellensburg with his dad. I revealed my picture book for my dad that I had been working on for him with pictures of Kylie and him. It was special and I could tell that he liked it. Ryan and went to Okanogan to Ty and Brook Thomas' wedding on Saturday spent the night and came home Sunday. I let Ryan have his book that I made for him. It took him a while to go through it and he was just thinking about what a great year it has been with our girl. By the time we got home Sunday we put everything away, made dinner, watched a movie, and went to bed. Monday night we had a wonderful steak dinner at Nany and Ba's for Stewart's father's day. The food was delicious, as always. Larry received his ropes and his picture book, which he also really liked. The girls just played and played and played. Kylie was teaching Maddie how to throw the canning jar rings. Maddie was teaching Kylie the chasing game. They are really cute together! We just sit around and watch the kids play, that is the best entertainment.
Happy Father's Day!!

Boating Fun

The Stewart Family (Kylie thinking her hat looks dumb)
Kim and Andy
Daddy and Kylie in the cold water

Some friends of ours invited us out to go for a ride in their boat this afternoon. They store their boat in Mattawa and we put in their about 4 p.m. It was warm and sunny, then as we began down the Columbia River the sun began to disappear. Kylie loved the water and didn't even mind when dad decided to stick her pigs into the freezing water. I was trying to get Ryan to jump in just to see that look on his face. It was a great afternoon and thank for inviting us. We sure hope that we can do it again sometime. It is just so relaxing cruising on the water.

Happy Birthday Steve!

Spencer, Katraya, Steve, Jessica(Me), Johnnyjean, Keeah, and Anjerie. We went to Steve Jarman's 50th Birthday Party yesterday at the Clymer's Museum in Ellensburg. It was so great to see the Jarman family. Steve and Johnni Jean were my second mom and dad beginning at the age of 6 months. My mom went back to work and Johnni Jean was my babysitter. I have been part of their family and felt like one of Steve's daughters. My love of cattle came from the ability to show steers. Steve allowed us to have our steers out at their house so that we could do 4-H and FFA. We lived in town growing up and didn't have a space, not even for a dog. It was a great experience and I am truly grateful for that opportunity. As many of you know during that part of my life I was talked into running for the Washington State Herford Queen, by Steve. I am glad that I did it and it was a great experience that many people do not even know about. I have had so many wonderful experiences/adventures. One moment that sticks out is a trip to show steers in Burns, OR. It was a super long trip and several of us ended up getting the flu. Whoa what a trip! Another trip that I will never forget was a trip for Anjerie's wedding. We were heading to Utah, we ended up getting a five hour late start, which is usual for the Jarman clan. They run on cattle rancher time, which I have learned since being married to a Stewart. We also added another passenger for their truck. We had seven people in their truck and as we began our journey we got a couple hours down the road and realized we had no AC. It was hot, cramped, and long, but we made the best of it. You always have a good time with the Jarmans. Thanks Steve for all of these wonderful adventures. I guess thanks to you, I found my husband Ryan the cattle rancher. I can take in stride the poop, the smells, being late, and living this lifestyle. I truly appreciate all of your love, patience, and crap that you have given me over the year! Happy Birthday Steve!

Ten Months Old

I can't believe that I just typed that. Kylie Rose is ten months old. What is new with Kylie? She has eight teeth, wears size 12-18 months, and size four diapers. She is so close to walking. I know that I have been saying that for months, but it should happen any day. Rosebud will stand all by herself, go up and down, but not a single step yet. I am not opposed to her walking, but I am just as content with her crawling for the most part I can keep up with her. Kylie plays copy cat with words. Her favorites right now are duck, dog, and cat. She has been saying "dada" for a while, but "mama" is few and far between. She said her first sentence, which was "hi dada," when Ryan went it to get her out of her crib. We have been enjoying the beautiful weather. Kylie loves it outside .The minute the door is opened Kylie is crawling out and onto our deck. She loves to swim and her pool has been the best $5.oo I have spent at Wal-Mart. Kylie Rose you are one loved little girl. Happy 10 Month Birthday Rosebud! Love, Mommy and Daddy

Graduation Party's

We had two wonderful graduation parties this last weekend. My cousin Bo graduated from Lacrosse High School on Saturday. We celebrated at their house with an ice cream party. There were too many toppings to choose from. Bo will be attending Central Washington University, GO WILDCATS! He will be living at my mom and dad's and I know that I will get to see a lot of him next year. We are looking forward to him being around and being part of the gang. His brother, Keith also graduated. He graduated from Washington State University in May and will be attending grad school in the fall. Bo and Keith are wonderful young men that we are lucky in have in our lives. We wish the best for both of you. Sunday was a trip to Pasco for my other two cousins graduation. Molly graduate from Pasco High School and will be attending Portland State next fall. Her brother, Jared graduate from the Air Force Academy. Both are wonderful people that we are so lucky to have in our lives. I was so glad to get to see both of them before they move away for a while and won't get to see them as much. Take care and make sure you check in on us as we will be doing the same.

Friday Fun

We had a great day last Friday. We started with a stroller ride. I am getting ready for the Summer Fest Fun Run. Please email me if you want more information about the Royal City Summer fest or the fun run. It is going to be a good time had by all. My goal is to run the entire 5K race, which sounds like a lot, but the entire race is 3.3 miles. I know that I can do it. It was a really hot day, so we decided to blow up the kiddy pool. Before we could even get water in it Kylie had jumped right in and boy is our well water cold. She loved to splash. The other favorite thing of the day was to throw the toys out of her pool them climb out throw the toys back into the pool and the fun continued for an hour. She had a mini burn down when it was time to get out. We had a popsicle and even had swing ride with dad in town at the Royal City park. At dinner Kylie decided to feed herself. After a bath, some books, and some more playing Kylie was really working hard on her lizards. This was just too cute. It was great time! We are so lucky to have such great weather in May, I can't wait for the rest of the summer!
