Happy Halloween!

We had a wonderful evening of Tricks and Treats! We started off by choosing the costume this afternoon. We had tried out the lion costume last week. I tried to take pictures for a Halloween card that I was going to send, but we had to settle on a pumpkin picture instead. She just would not smile and the mane was a bit unruly and kept hanging in her face. We tried on the baby bear costume this afternoon for the first time and she walked over to the mirror and smiled. Thanks to Courtney, my brother's girlfriend, we found the perfect costume. Courtney's mom made the bear costume for Courtney on her second Halloween.

We ate dinner and then headed out to our first house right down the road to Grandma Shirley's. She makes the best carmel corn. Next, down the road to Larry and Anita Sather's, Kylie loves her princess microphone. Then back up the hill to Uncle Don and Aunt Shannon's for some more cool treats. Then ended with Nany and Ba's. We let Kylie run wild with her cousins, which included Jace as a skeleton, Caden as a Ninja Turtle, and Maddie the cutest witch. We had a very fun Halloween. Thanks everyone for the great treats!

Pumpking Carving

We had a really fun afternoon getting ready for Halloween. We got two beautiful pumpkins from my Dad's garden and today was the day to carve them. Kylie got in on the action of cleaning out all of the guts and my talented husband, who is so artistic carve them both for us. I was ready with my patterns, but he didn't need them. He was able to free hand cut them both out. They are beautiful and we will have them lit for the rest of the month. Thanks Daddy!

Fishing

Ryan has started another hobby this summer, FISHING! He has been down on the creek at least a couple times a week. He loves fishing, the gear, the shows, etc. I am glad that Ryan found another hobby that is relaxing. A couple of weekends ago he went with Justin, Ted, and Larry down to the Columbia and caught a couple of Salmon and a Steelhead. It was a fun time. We love you Mr. Fisherman!

Ryder's Visit to the Ranch

Our good friends Casey and Courtney have a little boy who is 23 months old and is a go getter like Kylie. They came over yesterday to have a play date at the ranch. The big boys roped after a little rain came through. We had a taco dinner and then played some more. Thanks for coming over and playing Ryder. You are such a sweet little kid. I know Kylie had fun! It was great to get to see you guys. We are looking forward to Ryder's birthday party next month.

Wedding Anniversary

Ryan and I celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary last Friday night. We went out to eat at the Starlight in Ellensburg. Ryan had a delicious steak and I had a seafood special that was scrumptious. We had a fun evening and enjoyed our time together. Thanks Ryan for four wonderful years and many more. You are such a wonderful loving husband. I appreciate all of you hard work. I love you so much!

Fall is Here!

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather and being able to have several get together with our families. We had a fun girl weekend at my mom's for the 3rd and 4th of October. In attendance was my mom, Aunt Tammy, Aunt Teresa, and cousin Danielle, as well as Kylie and myself. We all brought our craft projects to work on. I do have to say with help from Danielle I was able to get a lot accomplished. We had a brunch for my dad's, Grandpa Gray, birthday Sunday morning with my dad's side of the family and it was great to see them. It seems like Thanksgiving and Easter as well as Christmas are the couple of time we get to see them. Then Sunday night we had a Harvest dinner at Grandma Shirley with all of Grandpa Larry's side. It was fun to get to see and visit with everyone.
Kylie and I mad a quick trip to town on Saturday to do some shopping in Tri-Cities. Ryan also had a fun day with his dad. They were invited to go fishing with some people from Royal. They caught three Salmon as well as a Steal head . They left at 5 in the morning and it was cold, but the fishing defiantly is on the top of Ryan's list of fun things to do as many of you know. I have not seen my husband for dinner in a couple of months. We had a really nice relaxing Sunday. We were able to sleep in and then get some football watching in, YEAH SEAHAWKS!!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Grandpa and his Kylie Kylie and her Granny

We had a brunch last weekend at my Granny and Papa's house for dad's birthday. Kylie has been a little sick and was not feeling the best, but she was in fine form when the birthday cake came out. She needed to be right in the middle of the cake and ice cream. We were able to celebrate with all my brothers, my granny and papa, as well as my dad sister and her family. The food was wonderful and it was great to get to see everyone. We hope that you had a wonderful birthday. We love you and Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Happy Birthday Ba!

I am a little behind with my posting. We have been trying to soak up the sunshine before we are stuck inside for the winter, which is here. We had a wonderful dinner at Nany and Ba's back in September to celebrate Ba's birthday. This picture was taking after Ba blew out his candles with his six little helpers. We love you and Happy Birthday Ba!
