We had a really fun day today. We drove into Moses Lake with Sybil for her shower. We left this morning during the worst part of the storm. It was huge white snowflakes and many accidents, but we made it their safe and sound. We went to Micheal's on the Lake for lunch. It was fun, we has a group of 12. Lunch was delicious, the game was fun, and the cake was great. I hope that you had a good time Sybil. I know that Katie and I had fun planning it for you. He will be dressed so cute. Tripp Allen will be here before you know it, we can't wait. I love you Sybil!

Family and Friends
Mom and I decided to go after Christmas shopping on Friday morning. By the time we got up got ready, it was 9 o'clock and 2 degrees. Brrrrrrrr! We still had to go after Christmas shopping. It is tradition. We left Kylie with her Great Granny for a couple of hours. We hit Fred Meyer, Jerrols, Bi-Mart, and Ranch & Home. We had a fun morning and it worked out great!
This is Kylie with Mommy before dinner. Ryan came back to town and we went out to dinner with some friends at the Roadhouse Grill. It was fun to see them and their little guy Ryder. He was really cute and getting so big.

After we had bunch with the girlfriends, we had lunch with Grandma and our good family friends, the Jarman's. It was so fun together and visit. We went to the Yellow Church and Keeah, Anjerie, and Johnnyjean were able to come. So much fun! It was great to see you guys too. I hope that you have a safe trip back to Utah. I hope to see you guys again soon.

We were able to start Christmas with the Gray family at church on Christmas Eve. We went to Saint Andrews to the children's mass. We forgot Kylie's binkie and I was sure that we were going to need to leave part way through, but thanks to Grandma Gray she slept through the entire thing. Then we went over to Granny and Papa Gray's for seafood chowder that my dad made. It was delicious. Granny had a couple of games to play. Ryan and I were runners up in the "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" game. We had a great time!
Thanks for the presents Granny and Papa.

Christmas morning Kylie slept in until 8:45 a.m. I wish this tradition would continue. It was pretty funny we were all up and waiting for Kylie to wake up. I don't think that will last long. Ryan had to go back to the ranch and feed Christmas morning. He decided to take Uncle Mike for some extra help. My dad made waffle, bacon, and eggs for Christmas breakfast. It was great, thanks Grandpa. Ryan and Mike made it back just in time for the roast that Grandpa cooked to perfection. Then we opened presents and Kylie got in on the action. She was eating tissue paper and bows. It was a nice relaxing day for Kylie and I. Poor Ryan maybe next year he can have a day off.

We had a really great Christmas at Nany and Ba's house tonight. It was so much fun. The Stewart's are always a ton of fun. Our Christmas started off with a delicious prime rib dinner and many wonderful salads. We always have to pose in front of Nany's tree for a picture. Then it was on to opening presents. Kylie's favorite was her stacking rings. It was a great time and thanks all for all of the wonderful presents. Ryan's favorite is his homemade boots that Nany and Ba got him. I love it all, I just can't pick. I am so excited about my new coat. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Cousins, Cousins, and More Cousins
This was Kylie at Jett's house on Monday. Sybil took this picture, while I was running errands in Royal. It is just too cute. I can defiantly tell that they are related. Jett tells me that he loves his Rosebuddy to the moon and back. Isn't that the cutest thing.

We have had a couple of very busy days. I have been wanting to have the Allred cousins over to do some Christmas projects. We were able to have the boys over on Wednesday. We made play dough, spritz cookies, read stories, watched a movie, played Candy Land, etc. Kylie had the best time laughing and playing with Jace and Caden. It was a fun day and I was so happy to see them. The cookies they decorated turned out great. The play dough we made was going to be for ornaments, but they decided they wanted to play instead. It was nice to see you two. I am so glad that you got to come and play.
Thursday was Jett's day. We were able to make play dough again and he made sixteen ornaments for his Christmas tree. Your tree will be beautiful with these homemade ornaments on them. He was really cute, he made a picture of Santa. Thanks Jett for coming over and playing. Rosebuddy loves playin with you.

Four Month Doctor Appointment
Today was Kylie's appointment at Dr. Oldham's office in Ellensburg. We waited for forty five minutes and then decided to see a new doctor their at the new office. She was great. Kylie smiled for her right away, which is a little shocking. She weighed 14 lbs 11 oz and was 24.8 inches long. When I told them about out little bet to see how much she weight they told me 95% of parents over estimate the weight of their child. She is in 75% percentile for height and weight. They also measured her head and it was 16.2 inches and she is in the 50% for head circumference. She had her three shots again, two in one leg and one in the other. She did really well and was done crying by the time we were out at the car. The new doctor was really great and answered all of my first time parent questions. I have to be more careful of Kylie's sensitive skin, she is like her mom. As you all know Kylie has been rolling over. This morning while I was getting ready I laid her on her play mat only to come back to her crying and her head bright red. She had rolled off the mat and was giving herself a rug burn face. The doctor also said that Kylie should have teeth before we come back at her 6 month appointment. She feels them under the skin on bottom and on top. We can't wait to see those chompers. She is definitely a drool machine. They told me not to start Kylie on solids until we talk next time at her 6 month appointment. I was a little disappointed, but it is what is best for her. She is sleeping through the night and I shouldn't mess with that. Keep up the good work you eating machine!

Four Months Old
We are headed to the doctor's appointment in Ellensburg tomorrow. I will update when we get home tomorrow night with length and weight. I just had to post this to celebrate her four month birthday. I finally caught her rolling over today and a smile on my camera. She would never smile for my camera and I got it today. O.K. so it's not a very big one but it's a smile none the less. I am happy to be able to show my brothers that she does roll over, they didn't believe me. Every time we have went to Ellensburg she hasn't done it. Maybe while we are their at Christmas, but at least I have my proof. We were taking bets on her weight. My guess is 15 lbs 1 oz. I am glad that I got a picture today because she will not be a happy camper tomorrow she will have three shots. I will let you know tomorrow how it went.
Happy Four Month Birthday Kylie Rose!

Bakin' Babes and Babies
(Not Pictured: Susie-AKA Nany)Maddie (9 months old today), Kylie (4 months old tomorrow)
For the past four year we have spent a day with Susie shopping during the holiday season. But, this year with the little girls and being germ cautious we spent the day at Nany's house baking cookies. We had a great time visiting and baking. We woke up to a skiff of snow this morning. So, it was the prefect day to stay inside and make delicious treats . We were able to get several batches of cookies baked. Susie made us a delicious crab quiche. I also learned how to pull bread. Thanks Susie for making me a really cute snowman apron. Katie and Sybil are going to laugh at my johnny on the spot blog posting, but Kylie decided to take her afternoon nap when we got home. Thanks for a great day ladies, I had too much fun.

Big Girl
This is Kylie after her very first roll over on December 2nd.
Kylie has been working on big girl stuff and is now acting like a big girl or a 4 month old. She rolled over on December 2nd. Now, she is talking up a storm. Ryan was laughing so hard when I showed him this video saying "she is a Stewart, already telling stories." I had to sub at the school today and she was telling us about her day at Nany's house. It was just too cute and kept going for about five minutes or so. Kylie is really into making fart noises and she is able to intensely work at it until she gets it to be extremely loud. She is too funny. She also has been grabbing, there is no remote, cellphone, camera, etc. safe from Kylie's slobbers. She has found her feet and they are her favorite toy. It just shocked us that she can play with them for an hour and they entertain her more than any of her toys. Kylie also has been working on sitting up, but that won't be for a while. I am still trying to capture a roll over on video.
Woop Woops we love you, your our big girl!

Sorry, I am still learning this BLOGGING thing. I tried to turn the video, so that you can see her and it won't be upside down, but it didn't work.
